I'll first talk about the economy. We had some good news from the Fed yesterday. They are saying that we're making progress on inflation. So that's really good to hear. But they still want to hold on to those interest rates until they see the inflation number get closer to their 2% target. So we're still waiting on that. But in the meantime, company earnings continue to hit or exceed expectations. So that's what's good for companies. Unemployment still remains low, and wages are still pretty significant, that people feel like they can still live and spend as they need to. So we've seen markets hit some of their highs yesterday. The S&P hit 5500. And so on a year to date basis, S&P is up 15.29%, the NASDAQ up 18.57, the Dow Jones up just under 5%. And bonds have struggled this year. So they're flat and some negative. So those have struggled quite a bit. So what does this mean for investors, though, as we always say at WHZ? Our outlook is that stay with that long term strategy. There are going to be some ups and downs. We've seen a great recovery this year but it's not without some potential risk. So we have the presidential election that we're, of course, watching geopolitical challenges, too, that continue to happen. But maintain that diversified investment strategy and you'll get through.
